Business woman Barbara Corcoran donated her Karen Miller heels and copy of her book to Shoe Revolt.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 8, 2013 - Shoe Revolt is a non-profit organization that auctions celebrity shoes to raise funds to deploy a social franchising model called Teen Revolt Chapters (teenrevolt.org) across the nation. The Teen Revolt Chapter’s mission is to educate, engage, and empower youth to take the lead in the fight against domestic sex trafficking through peer-to-peer involvement, training, activism and social enterprise development.

Shoe Revolt expresses sincere gratitude for Corcoran’s heels and book donations. It’s because of donations like hers that allow our organization to contribute funds to programs across the country through the Teen Revolt chapters.  

Revolt means to rise up and fight against the injustice of modern day slavery of human beings.

The auction of her Karen Miller silver heels will be this coming Monday April 15-22 on eBay.


Barbara Corcoran, business woman, author, consultant, and syndicated columnist certainly has a number of accomplishments and successes to be proud of in her life. Early on, she worked many jobs, including a waitress, until (as the subtitle of her book Shark Tales says) she “turned $1,000 into a Billion Dollar Business.” In addition to the many accolades associated with her name, she is the star of the television reality series Shark Tank which gives advice to aspiring entrepreneurs.
