PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 8, 2013 - On March 5, 2013, Los Rios River Runners (http://www.losriosriverrunners.com) opened the rafting season on the Rio Grande in the Santa Fe and Taos area of northern New Mexico. Los Rios is the first company on the river, as we are most years. Two happy spring break vacationers spent a day on our Lower Gorge full-day adventure, floating through the spectacular scenery of the Orilla Verde in the morning and then, after a riverside lunch, braving the Class 3 whitewater of the Racecourse section.
Many people have booked to raft with us throughout the month of March, when they come to Taos for spring break. We’ve got a great snowpack so we’re expecting a great year on the river. Spring breakers can ski one day and raft the next!
