Methodology EnviroStars is an objective third party certification you can trust. Local government consultants do on-site business assessments of each applicant. Then potential EnviroStars applicants are reviewed by the Washington Department of Ecology. After a company earns its certification, a rigorous on-going renewal process assures standards are maintained over time.
