Daniel Ryan, "Beyond the Mist" in San Diego

March 8, 2013 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO (March 5, 2013)— EC Galleries announce a three-day show for artist Daniel Ryan in San Diego’s Gaslamp April 5-7. Join us at Exclusive Collections as we explore “Beyond the Mist” into Daniel Ryan’s ruminative natural world.

Ryan continues to examine the ideas of beauty in nature and the symbolism embedded within it. “I explore the tree not only in terms of nature, but for what it represents in different cultures,” Ryan explains, “It is a symbol of life, wisdom, enlightenment, conservation, family - there is no end.” With his new works Ryan continues to develop the atmosphere that surrounds the paintings. Ryan’s distinctive texture and lighting tie together all of his work with the soft luminous background tones radiating color and light as distinctively as the subject of the paintings themselves. As distance and perspective take on a larger role Ryan continues to develop and visualize the world around his trees.

ECG’s Historic Gaslamp location will host a champagne reception with wine, appetizers, and music. Art collectors who are unable to attend the event may contact the gallery to view an online exhibition of all original artwork for sale by Daniel Ryan for that weekend.
