A native of Los Angeles, Chassman has spent more than 20 years in leadership roles with some of America’s most recognizable entertainment and media brands. As VP/General Manager of a broadcasting company, he was responsible for turning around a group of bankrupt ABC-affiliated TV stations in Alaska, where Sarah Palin worked as a young reporter. From there, he was Regional Vice President at AOL, leading media sales and business development during the biggest corporate merger in U.S. history between AOL and Time Warner. Then, in 2005 he joined CEO Mark Zuckerberg as a Regional Vice President and the 43rd employee of the social media phenomenon Facebook.
Throughout these experiences, Chassman couldn’t shake his hunger to become a better leader and his passion to build the next generation of leaders. In 2007, he decided to dedicate his life to that challenge. Today, he is Dean of Movement 121’s Social Leadership Academy, a global training organization.
The program will also feature a special appearance by David Pendleton, a veteran entertainer and one of the nation’s premiere ventriloquists. Pendleton’s humor and stellar technique keep audiences laughing from start to finish, featuring a wide range of comedic characters including lovable, but blunt, Aunt Tilly, a 94 year-old spinster; quick-witted trouble-maker Mack Elroy, with his laid-back sidekick Buford the Beagle; and Vern, a slightly misguided albino vulture. Throughout his high-energy entertainment, Pendleton mixes in humorous truths of God’s plan for our lives.
The event is presented in partnership with At Work On Purpose, ColorNine, Deeter Advisory Group and Dunzo. For more information, contact Ron Touby at 513.227.5495 or ron.touby@cru.org; or visit www.priorityassociates.org/
