Hospitality Training and Bartending School Offers Responsible Vendor Training

Ormond Beach, FL – Hospitality Training and Bartending School in Ormond Beach, FL has trained bartenders and servers at four local establishments recently to become Florida Certified Responsible Vendors.

Hank Belden, owner of Hospitality Bartending School, launched the classes in compliance with the Florida Statute 561.701-706, governing the sales of alcohol. He is a certified TIPS trainer, however he has designed a Florida Law Specific Certified Reliable Vendor Certification program that is superior. Belden has given the Florida Certified Responsible Vendor’ training to the staffs at the Aku Tiki Inn, Mario’s Restaurant, the Fraternal Order of Eagles 4435 and the Daytona Beach Regency.

“Our goal is to keep the owner of the business, the establishment, and the customers out of trouble,” says Belden. “A lawsuit or an injury can really ruin a good time,” he adds.

Lessons cover essential information, including alcohol laws and responsibilities, evaluating intoxication levels, dealing with difficult situations - such as having to make the choice to stop serving a customer - and checking identification.

Founded by Hank Belden in 1984, Hospitality Bartending School has been training new bartenders, servers, management, experienced Bartenders and home entertainers in bartending skills for nearly 30 years. The school has flexible class times and offers an extensive job placement service for their graduates.
