The labels that Nuage carries have chosen to keep their production in France and are made in limited series by hand. “It is my aspiration to support fine craftsmanship and preserve French savoir-faire. That’s why Nuage was born”, Chantal Plagie, founder of Nuage explains. “I hope to share more than exceptional design from the artisans and provide unique, well-crafted pieces each with its own story.”
All designers selected are already available throughout reputable department and concept stores in Paris and major fashion capitals including London, Tokyo and New York. Names such as Medecine Douce, Aime, Adeline Affre, Anne Thomas are set to appeal to the elegant, sophisticated women of all ages who are quality-seeking.
Behind Nuage is Chantal Plagie, a French-Asian born and raised in Paris who has always had a passion for fashion, different cultures and entrepreneurship and her husband, Chris Yip. Chantal worked for 11 years in consulting and audit while Chris has a background in finance, both having lived in Paris, London, Singapore and now Hong Kong.
