Life, Death and Mobile Websites

Those companies who are considered "early adopters" no doubt have experienced the rewards of being on the mobile web space. Now is the time for San Antonio businesses to progress with their customers.

Brian Gibbs, founder and owner of San Antonio web design company Focused Idea will be speaking at the Small Business Development Center in San Antonio to discuss the importance of going mobile for local businesses. "Mobile is the way web users are going," said Brian Gibbs. "I believe it is extremely important for San Antonio businesses to go mobile. It's possibly more important than just being 'on the web.'"

How important is being mobile for local businesses? There are over 3 billion searches each month are for local-based keywords (Google). Half of all Bing mobile searches are local (Bing). 55% of adult smartphone users surveyed indicated they use their phone for location-based recommendation services (Pew Internet).
