"Tails" of the Lost & Found
All pet types are eligble, and stories depicting any method of return are welcome to enter. "Everyone wants to help a lost animal find its way home again," said Lorien Clemens, PetHub's Manager of Maketing and Outreach. "Our friends at Red Dingo, P.L.A.Y., PetFirst Healthcare, Thundershirt, Blue Dog Bakery, Pride Bites Toys, Lend a Free Hand, Preventive Vet, and Dog is Good, to name just a few, have joined us in celebrating the wayward animals that were reunited with their families and their inspirational stories."
A panel of judges, including PetHub staff, partners and an industry guest will award the grand prize to the best story. The "Welcome Home" gift basket is valued at over $500 and includes gift cards, products and services from major pet industry companies. "As word spreads, the prizes continue to come," explained Clemens. "The winning family is going to be very happy!"
In addition to the mountain of prizes awarded for the best told tale, the story will be featured in a special e-newsletter from the popular publisher, Bark Magazine in April 2013.
The story contest runs from March 3 to April 5, 2013, with final submissions accepted until 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
