KASO Plastics, Inc. acquires Vanguard Fenestration Business from VPL Enterprises Ltd.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 7, 2013 - KASO Plastics, Inc., a long-time Vancouver, Washington plastic injection molder, announces the acquisition of the Vanguard line of molded window products from VPL Enterprises Ltd. of  Langley, British Columbia, Canada.  The proprietary product line developed by VPL is one that no longer fits their business plan and was acquired by KASO through the acquisition of inventory, dies, and manufacturing fixtures in exchange for cash.  Darin King, KASO’s V.P. General Manager, believes the acquisition will increase manufacturing efficiency and add increased stability to KASO’s long term work force.


The move fits in nicely with KASO’s knowledge, experience, and equipment, and, by KASO’s estimates, will add six or seven full-time jobs.


KASO has been in operation for 51 years and has been located in Vancouver, WA since 1984. The transaction is expected to be concluded on March 5, 2013.
