PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 7, 2013 - Poricy Park Spring Day Camps are great for kids' day off from school. Camps are available for half day (9am-12pm) or full day (9am-3pm) sessions. Each day offers a new theme.

Monday, March 25 - Monday Stink Camp - Imagine the scent of the forest after a light spring rain. Yet something smells funny. Discover some unusual smells that nature uses and we'll investigate why through lab and field activities.

Wednesday, March 27 - Wolves, Whales & Wildebeests - Whiz into this wild weekday as we welcome the whimsies of wholesome wonders while on a walkabout through wooded trails and other winning hands-on fun.

Thursday, March 28 - Dinosaur Thursday - Delve into the adventurous world of paleontology as we explore habitats, adaptations and more using our curiosity during the many exciting activities.

Sibling discounts available. Half day fee is $38 members; $42 non-members. Full day fee is $55 members, $60 non-members. Please call the Nature Center, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm for details or to register.

Poricy Park Conservancy is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization located at 345 Oak Hill Road, Middletown Township, NJ. All community and summer camp programs are run by Poricy Park Conservancy. With exceptional ecological resources, the 250 acre historical and nature site makes it one of the largest parks in Monmouth County. The Park offers recreational activities such as magnificent wooded hiking trails, bird watching, pristine pond settings, fishing, and a one-of-a-kind 70 million year-old Cretaceous fossil bed. Poricy Park is home to the 1770 NJ Historic Murray Farmhouse and Barn. The Nature Center is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
