Gaming Legend Trickman Terry to Stream 16 Hour Shmup-athon Fundraiser!

GWW to support gaming icon in 16-hour marathon event

Gaming industry icon Trickman Terry is gearing up to zap enemies and blast foes for a fantastic cause. Beginning this Friday, March 8, the videogame veteran will launch a streaming, 16-hour shoot-em-up (shmup) marathon in support of “Bring the Girls Home”(www.giveforward.com/bringthegirlshome) (http://www.giveforward.com/bringthegirlshome), a fundraiser dedicated to raising the funds necessary to unite his niece Emily and her husband Tony with their two adopted daughters from Africa.

Trickman Terry aims to generate awareness and donations for “Bring the Girls Home” by playing shmups from his personal collection throughout the 16-hour stretch. Fans and supporters are encouraged to cheer him on live at his stream, www.twitch.tv/trickman, (http://www.twitch.tv/trickman) beginning this Friday at 8PM CST.

“March has been deemed by many to be Shmuppreciation Month. I thought it would be proper to honor that month as well as do something wonderful for my family,” said Terry.

Terry will be supported in his noble schmuping mission by wingmen at Gaming World Wide who will stream their own “Bring The Girls Home” fundraising play sessions following Terry's marathon.
