South Paris & Bethel, Maine- During the month of March, W.J. Wheeler Insurance Agency is hosting a “Like” Campaign to help raise money Community Concepts Big Brothers Big Sisters program. For every new like on our Facebook page we will donate $1 to this non-profit organization, up to $500!
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a donor funded event created to help Big Brothers Big Sisters continue to expand their work. Participants in the event fundraise for Big Brother’s Big Sisters. “Each bowler is required to fundraise a minimum of $35,” says event coordinator Hallie Twomey. Proceeds, of course, go toward providing area children with mentoring through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
The event takes place on April 6 and 7 in Lewiston and on April 13 at Hobbs Lucky Lanes in South Paris. Bowling times are 12, 2, 4, and 7 on Saturday April 6; 12 and 2 on Sunday April 7; and 10, 12, 2, 4, and 7 on Saturday April 13. Bowlers 19 and older pay a $10 registration fee to bowl. Celebrities such as Rick Charette, Miss Maine, and Miss Teen Maine will attend the event.
