March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Fantasy writer, Andy Coughlan, is celebrating the release of his first novel, The Elementalist, by holding a weird weather photo competition on his book’s website.

Andy wants you to upload your photos of strange weather phenomenon to http://theelementalist.co.uk where visitors can vote for it. The winner will receive a new Kindle Paperwhite.

Strange weather is a key feature of Andy’s new novel. The main character of the story, Barin Elicerio, has to face off against several storms and other unusual meteorological events during his adventures.

“I’m a huge weather nerd,” says Andy, “so the idea of a weird weather photo competition appealed to me greatly. I’m hoping for some really cool images to be uploaded. I'm looking for photos of extreme or unusual weather: storms, ice, tornadoes and the like.”

The competition runs until the 30th of April, so there’s plenty of time to get snapping and voting. For more details, go to http://theelementalist.co.uk/weird-weather-competition/
