On Wednesday 20th March, PhD student Francoise Rutland will be discussing the casts that are currently on show at the Victoria Gallery and Museum. She will be analysing just how they are used by museums across the world and why they played such an important role following the Liverpool Blitz. This intriguing event is free of charge and therefore does not require any pre-booking.

Families are also in for a treat at the VG&M this March, with the Family Saturday taking place on Saturday 30th between 1pm and 4pm. ‘Down at the Farm’ is designed to be celebration of spring and allows all members of the family to meet piglets, calves and even new born lambs. This fantastic family event is made all the more impressive by the fact that it is free of charge.
