Poetry Trumps the Winter Doldrums: Helps with Depression

Tired of the cold and snowy weather turn to poetry for comfort and therapy. Philadelphia e-zine releases the work of Poet Nathaniel S. Rounds and others to sooth the mind.

March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Mel Brake Press releases Spring 2013 edition (5) of poetry collective. We have been very pleased with the number of manuscripts received during the past reading cycle and while its always a challenge to find poems that adhere to our mission statement:

We aim to publish quality works of creative artists and writers who focus on the realm of spiritual, esoteric and metaphysical. Our approach is to publishing non-traditionally and via electronic venues. We intend to bring works of beauty and art to the waiting masses.

We are very pleased with poets who made the cut. For example, Poet Nathaniel S. Rounds is one of our returning contributors and he wrote a beautiful erudite poem called Gabriell a in The shade of The Wood is Fed To Applause of The Evening. The title alone will draw the readers into his world of mystic, mystery and magic.

In continuing with our tradition of publishing youthful poets, we are more than happy to present the work of Poet Canaan Massie, an 18-year old writer.
Also rounding out this year collective, we are featuring the works of Sy Roth, Kislay Chauhan, Samantha Seto and Dawnell Harrison.

So as the days get longer and we push forward our clocks on March 10, 2013,
think Spring time and think poetry, and think peace of mind.
