March 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The first season of “Peter Bear’s Den,” a planned five-season webseries from Well Dang! Productions, concludes this Sunday, March 10, as title character Peter Bear roadtrips to Tennessee to confront the cyberbully who’s been tormenting him on YouTube.

The finale goes live this Sunday at 3 p.m. EST on Well Dang! Productions’ YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/welldangtv

“Peter Bear’s Den” stars Joe Worthen, a creative writing graduate student at UNC Wilmington, as Peter Bear, and Breanna Foister, a member of New York-based Stable Cable Lab Co., as Judy Robertson.

Creator Alex Wroten, an L.A.-based filmmaker, wrote and directed the first season of the webseries two years ago. He has been working with Worthen and Foister since 2003, and through Well Dang! Productions, Wroten has produced three feature-length films and 20 short films since 2001.

“Peter Bear’s Den” was originally conceived of as one of those shorts.

“We turned the short into a webseries because we realized that the characters we had created over a couple days of filming were fun and interesting enough that we should stay with them and explore them for longer than 20 minutes,” Wroten said.

Wroten said most of the dialogue in the first season was improvised and came out of the chemistry between Worthen and Foister.

The first season purposely hides details about the relationship between Peter and Judy. Viewers can’t be sure whether they’re brother and sister, just friends, or even in a romantic relationship.

“We played a lot with concealing information and only giving you exactly what you need to understand the story at any point,” Wroten says. “The relationship between Peter and Judy is something we start to dig into in the second season.

Wroten says the second season will premiere on YouTube in May. Seasons two through five were filmed in December and are now in post-production.
