The program features the story behind the creation of the Molly and the Magic Suitcase book series, shows students an easy approach to drawing the characters, and creates, with student help, a whole new potential book for the series. "We have a lot of fun engaging these kids and getting them to contribute. It is also a good way to find out where people travel," says Amy about the presentations.
The husband and wife team are currently at work on the followup to Molly and the Magic Suitcase: Molly Goes to Rome. "We're developing two projects right now, one continues the illustrated book series, the other is a "Molly" book for a slightly older audience. It's a chapter book mystery featuring Molly and Michael."
Amy and Chris have additional speaking engagements scheduled. In the meantime, they continue to run COLOR Marketing & Design, the publisher for the Molly series and full-service marketing communications firm.
