Pierson Requirements Group Offers 3 Day Virtual Business Requirements Gathering and Writing Seminar

The three-session class will focus on how to gather requirements and write the various levels of requirements in an effective manner. The class is designed for those in the business analyst field, including project managers, designers, developers and business managers.

The Business Requirements Gathering and Writing Seminar is presented in three, half-day sessions that run from 1-5 pm EST.

In the second session, participants expand on the information by learning about the different levels of business requirements as well as the accepted standards of writing effective requirements. Students will look at existing requirements and evaluate their effectiveness. At the end of this session, students will be confident in writing high-quality use cases.

The third session is where students bring the learned content together in a collaborative effort to better write detailed use cases. The objectives of the seminar include defining the best practices and standards for writing functional and non-functional requirements, completing practical exercises and gathering techniques using UML diagrams, use cases and user stories. Participants will also have the opportunity to critique requirements using the industry standards.
