ABOUT KING LIL G

King Lil G, raised in Inglewood, California, began his career at the mere age of 12. Growing up he listened to Hip Hop artists such as 2Pac, Eazy-E, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. It was these artist who inspired him with their lyrics, beats and styles to write his first lyrics. He did not always have it so easy. He spent time in jail, but was later release under house arrest. During those times he had no one to talk to and he learned to express himself through his rhymes.  King Lil G has since then stuck to one very simple method of doing things: to always be himself and never to copy anyone else. Many did not believe in his talent but in 2002 he proved them all wrong by releasing an album in which he wrote the lyrics too. He pushed himself and never gave up and it all paid off in late 2002. King Lil G was signed to Double 9 Records by executive producer “Downer.” However in late 2011, King Lil G’s label, Double 9 Records, signed an imprint deal with MIH Entertainment.

Now, King Lil G spends his time recording in major studios and working with producers associated with 2pac and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. He is gaining recognition all around the world with his most recent albums “Blue Devil 2” and “King Enemy,” both selling over 10K digital singles. Over the years he has nabbed spots on various television shows such as LA TV’s “Cruising TV” (2005) and MTV3 (2007). A monster has been unleashed and nothing can stop his momentum.
