Follow on Google News | Living On a Line - The album by Netherlands band Mirage - re-release 8th MarchMIRAGE - a Dutch band with its own vision. Different, fresh, pure and honest. Their sound can be described as a mixture of classical, jazz and pop music with a unique style developed since their formation in 1988.
Working closely with such diversified orchestras as: the "Noordhollands Philharmonisch Orkest" (the Netherlands); Since 1996, MIRAGE has produced three Albums - "Fields Of Vision" (1996), "Living On A Line" (1997) and “1999”, all three received favourable reviews by the media and music lovers but copies not not readily available. Red Admiral Records are releasing “Living On A Line” digitally worldwide and as CD on demand on 8th March 2013. In October 2000, MIRAGE contributed to the "NIGHT OF THE PROMS 2000" in Vaals. The band was accompanied by a choir and an orchestra of 100 musicians and attended by many enthusiastic music fans. The CD "1999" had its debut in the Maastricht "Kumulus" theatre in a gala concert presented by Amnesty International. A percussion ensemble, a modern dance performance, top musicians, singers and soloists (classical and modern) were projected on a huge video screen. The result was a wonderfully varied program. In March 1990 Mirage performed in Haarlem (NL) for the first time with a string-ensemble. This was the beginning of using classical instruments within their music. Experience from their tour of China in summer 2004 and the many theatre concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg and Germany have inspired Mirage to make a new album which is planned for later in 2013 .
