Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies Co., a leading provider of technology-based end-to-end solutions in the Middle East, has announced that its President and CEO Ahmed Ashadawi has been named “Entrepreneur of the Year” at the recently concluded VAR Arabia 2013 awards ceremony. Ashadawi has been recognised by VAR Arabia for being a visionary leader in the Saudi IT industry for the past three decades, having led Alfalak to become one of the top 100 companies in KSA.

He has over 45 years of experience in information technology, having worked on several medium-to-large scale data processing application systems in the construction, oil and higher education industries. Over the years, Ashadawi has attended several Presidents seminars in USA, Spain, UAE, Japan and Italy, and is a member of several prestigious organisations and associations.
