2013 Dodge Dart
The GT enters the Dart family with five other trim levels, including the SE, SXT, Rallye, Aero, and Limited. All the models offer remarkable styling, impressive fuel-efficiency, a roomy interior, and a long list of standard features.
The new GT is powered by a 2.4L inline-four engine that has stronger internal mechanisms, extra sound dampening features, and an innovative electro-hydraulic valve system. This gives the vehicle stronger power, greater fuel economy, and less emissions than the non-GT model. There are two transmission choices, including a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic. The automatic also has a manual shift feature.
In addition, the GT has a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels, frequency-sensing shocks, and recalibrated components. The GT delivers excellent performance, even on twisting roads and very sharp corners.
The automaker looked into Italian inspiration with this vehicle, namely from Alfa Romeo and Fiat, which are European manufacturers recognized for designing fuel-efficient inline-four engines and tight suspension systems.
The shark-like GT is aggressive and athletic, with its GT emblems, dual exhaust, and racing-style LED taillights. It does, however, offer plenty of comfort as well. It features heated front seats, a rearview camera for backing up, the Uconnect multimedia interface, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and remote start. The interior configuration of the performance sedan is convenient, efficient, and driver-centered.
