Dianne L Gardener invites you to her Kickstarter project for The Ian's Realm Saga!

March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Ever thought that digital and fantasy were not a good mix? Guess again! In The Ian's Realm Saga by Dianne Lynn Gardener, prepare to be delighted at just how well digital and fantasy can blend!

Author Dianne Gardener invites you to follow Ian Wilson as he unintentionally finds a portal between his world and a world of fantasy. Share his pain and his triumphs as he and his father battle evil while trying to find a way to save the people he loves.

An added bonus: Mrs. Gardener also illustrates the covers of her books. That's right, those breath-taking images are the work of the lady who writes the delightful tales. Want to be part of her world? Even a little? Then join the Kickstarter campaign!

There are five books in all at the moment, with more to come. The first three books are being published by a small press, Hydra Publications. The publisher is doing everything possible to get the word out.

So what's the story about? How is it different than any other adventure fantasy and why would I want to support it?

Without giving you a ton of spoilers here, let's just say that this story has a different twist to conquering evil than anything you have ever read. It's that message that just might help the world, one person at a time! It's a coming-of-age tale about a boy becoming a man and learning some really important lessons along the way.

Money earned for this project will be spent on:

·          Art supplies for the illustrations and book covers for the series. Even with the author doing her own illustration there are costs involved. Canvas, paints, studio expenses.

·          Publishing Costs

·          Formatting, editing and all the costs involved in bringing six books to the reader.

·          Trailers for the forthcoming books.

·          Promotional Materials. Flyers, posters, bookmarks and other marketing materials.

Dianne Gardner is both an author and illustrator living in the Pacific Northwest, USA. She's an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and the National League of American Pen Women. Dianne is an award winning portrait and plein air painter, using her talents to illustrate her stories. Besides The Dragon Shield, the second book in the Ian's Realm Series she boasts authorship to Deception Peak and four short stories in the A Tale of the Four Wizards series.
