2013 Fashion Awards MD Set to Honor Industry at the Stunning Brown Center at MICA

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 5, 2013 - This year’s 2013 Fashion Awards MD (FAMD) is set to take place on Saturday June 15th at the Brown Center at MICA. The Brown Center at MICA is located at 1301W Mt. Royal Ave, Baltimore MD 21217. "I am really happy to be bringing this event to Baltimore this year, having it at the beautiful Brown Center at MICA symbolizes to me that fashion, art and creativity are truly one entity.  I’m looking forward to a fabulous event and celebrating with the rest of our fashion community,” says FAMD Founder and Producer Lana Rae. With the Brown Center’s contemporary soaring glass architecture, beautifully landscaped plaza, large fountain, state-of-the-art audio and visual system and unique stage design, this year’s Fashion Awards MD will be the most stylish and ultra-fabulous red carpet event Maryland has ever seen.  

Leading up to the event, the public is encouraged to give their voice and vote for the top nominees through the FAMD website. A panel of diverse industry experts and guest judges will also put their talents to work, delivering a portion of the final scores.  The winners will be announced and presented with their award at the June 15th event. This fashionable affair starts at 6PM with Red Carpet arrivals and media interviews, guest will be seated at 7PM, and the Awards show begins promptly at 7:30PM. Nominees in the “Emerging” Categories and the “Rising Star” will be announced separately on Wednesday May 8th at a special industry networking event and fashion showcase at the Tremont Hotel (225 N. Charles St, Baltimore) from 6:30PM until 9:30PM, presented by Fashion Awards MD, Bonneau Caprece, The Baltimore Fashion Alliance and The Tremont Hotel.
