The festival will kick off at Grand Boulevard with a VIP meet and greet on Thursday evening, where a wine dinner will be hosted by the founder of the event, Chan Cox. On Friday evening, winemakers and shakers from some of the top wineries in the world will be tasting great wines along with ticketholders. Later in the evening, The Vibrant Rioja Exclusive Gran Reserva and Reserva Wine & Food Pairing event will commence, where old-world Rioja wines and beautiful Spanish hors d’oeuvres will be paired in perfect portions for each guest.
The two-day main event begins on Saturday, April 27th, starting off with a VIP Tasting. This ultimate wine experience will showcase top wine celebrities presenting and pouring rare, collectable wines. Each participant will receive a commemorative Reidal glass. Immediately following the VIP Tasting will be the Destin Charity Wine Auction Reserve Tasting, which will combine reserve wine tasting with a silent auction.
Grand Tasting events will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the Town Center and Culinary Village. While ticket holders are sampling a diverse array of wines, top songwriters from Nashville will perform their hit songs as part of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association’
The South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival is expected to attract out-of-state visitors and locals from Destin, Seagrove Beach, Seaside and other nearby towns. Local hotels and vacation rental management companies will be offering discounts on accommodations for those attending the event.
