Roger Grubbs releases The Missing Gun - Book 1 in Mystery Writers Anonymous Series

Nothing gets adrenalin pumping more than a great mystery.  History has proven this fact.  Just look at the numerous movies, television shows, not to mention the fabulous novels that fill our bookshelves.  Well, Roger Grubbs has come up with his own spin that incorporates today’s hi-tech world in a thrilling tale involving members of our younger generation.

When we think of past days of mysteries and detectives, Sherlock Holmes’ signature hat and a huge magnifying glass immediately come to mind.  While they worked great in the past, just imagine what can be done today with so many hi-tech gadgets at our disposal.  We live in a world of rapidly expanding technology.  Progress is so extreme we can almost see change unfolding before our very eyes.  Give a member of today’s younger generation a laptop, an iPad, and a cellphone, and see what happens.  Under the direction of their nibble fingers, these electronic devices can do almost anything; and their capabilities appear to be limitless.  Young people have learned to adapt to the rapidly advancing technology at an astonishing pace.  But what if they are even better at it than we realize?

The first installment of Mystery Writers Anonymous, The Missing Gun, is being released this week.  Check out this novel centered in Birmingham, Alabama, a city plagued with crime.  People are mysteriously ending up dead, and the murder weapon seems to have a way of disappearing.  Once involved in this case, they find they may have uncovered more than they can handle.  Join in with this team as they use their sharpened detective skills to attempt to bring this crime to light.
