Snell & Wilmer Attorney Michael Strand Named One of Denver’s Forty Under 40

March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Strand’s practice encompasses all phases of real estate transactions, from acquisition, financing and development, to design and construction and then leasing, marketing and sale. His current practice focuses on real estate development and leasing, for owners, developers and tenants, as well as a broad variety of real estate finance, purchase and sale transactions.

Strand has been a volunteer for and supporter of people living with HIV/AIDS since 2007 when he began volunteering his time with the Whitman Walker Clinic in Washington D.C. where he accepted referrals from patients in need of pro bono legal services.  He then served on the Board of Directors for Howard Dental Center from 2008-2011, including two years as its treasurer. Strand was also part of a team of Snell & Wilmer attorneys that represented the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver in its redevelopment of the Holly Shopping Center, which was destroyed in a gang-related arson in 2008, including leading the negotiation of Boys & Girls Clubs’ 99-year ground lease for the site.

Strand will be recognized at the Forty Under 40 event on March 21, 2013 with Masai Ujiri, Kroenke Sports Executive Vice President of basketball operations for the Denver Nuggets as the keynote speaker.
