Germs are invisible and we can’t avoid them, but we can protect ourselves. Public places harbor bacteria and viruses-especially surface areas that people frequently touch-
Here are some of the top places germs like to hang out, and how we can protect ourselves.
Bathroom Taps:
Us e a hand towel to turn off the faucet, and open the door to prevent those pesky germs from getting all over your clean hands.
The Shower:
Wet surfaces allow germs to multiply. To limit their spread, wash shower stalls and tubs regularly after use.
The Gym:
Clean equipment after each use. Better yet- wipe it down before you use it, and after.
Elevator Buttons:
How many people touch elevator buttons daily? They are a high traffic zone for germs. Hand wash frequently.
Door Handles:
We all touch at least one every day. Frequent hand washing is your best plan of attack.
Grocery Cart Handles:
Carry hand sanitizer, or use wipes provided where grocery carts are kept until you are able to wash your hands more thoroughly.
Win the battle against germs!
