802 Toyota to Officially Sponsor Shawn Fleury at the 2013 Thunder Road International SpeedBowl

March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Barre, Vt. -- Shawn Fleury, the No. 2 most-winning driver of the Tiger Sportsman Division of Thunder Road will be sporting No. 31, a Toyota Camry emblazoned with the 802 logo, company colors and plenty of Fleury’s extras for racing.

Fleury is a Service Technician at 802’s neighboring store and partner, Twin City Subaru.

“I am particularly proud that Shawn is a tech for us out of the Subaru store and we have the opportunity to support an employee,” said 802 Toyota General Manager Todd Mobley. 802 Toyota will be regularly updating their social media outlets with news and pictures of Fleury’s progress as he builds and readies his Camry for competition.

On an average weekly race, Thunder Road has a fan base of roughly 3,000-5,000 people. Special event races have an attendance of 8,000-10,000, while opening weekend attracts about 10,000 fans. The event is held in Barre, Vt.

“We are a dedicated team that has been competing in the Tiger Sportsman Division for several years. We have two Tiger Sportsman Championships and are listed as second on the all-time win list… It is exciting to think that with five more wins I could break the record,” said Fleury.
