The mission of Dodge Caravan Kids is to enrich the community by making it easier for coaches, players, and families to participate in and enjoy the game of hockey by providing additional support for teams and individuals when it comes to bearing the cost of purchasing equipment.
In order to be eligible for the program, a team must rank in the Novice or Atom division and be located within 100 km of a participating Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram retailer. Dealerships may sponsor multiple teams within the same area as well.
Teams that are enrolled in Dodge Caravan Kids will receive $500-550 in funding, the chance to win and engage in supplemental hockey experiences directly from Chrysler Canada, and the opportunity to earn more in funding ($100-500) from the Dodge Caravan Kids photo contest.
Some of the prizes given away include larger monetary support, as well as a Dodge Grand Caravan, perfect for hauling around kids and hockey gear.
Each team sponsored by a dealership will have special branding on their jerseys, including a Dodge Caravan Kids sponsor bar. To simplify things, Chrysler Canada has special name bars and artwork files available for jersey designs.
The team at Knight Dodge has a proud history of participation, having supported such area teams as the Swift Current Flames. Although the deadline for support this winter has passed, it is never too early to get involved and prepare for the next season.
