March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Photography has become quite an easy task these days, and with easy consumer access to cameras, virtually anyone can click images, but what really matters is how to make your photos different from ordinary ones.

Special effect photography is the solution, and to learn the tips and tricks, many eBooks are available. Among them, the most noticeable one of all is TRICK PHOTOGRAPHY & SPECIAL EFFECTS, which includes everything you need to know to become a professional photographer, and there really are some amazing techniques mentioned in the book.

Special tricks make the image more interesting and side wise keeping the originality of the image. Such effects are achieved by using photographic software like ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, PAINT.NET, PHOTOSCAPE, PICASA, DIGITAL PHOTO PROFESSIONAL and many others. The book sheds light on a number of effects that editing software can produce, and here are some of the best examples.

The TILT SHIFT EFFECT is interesting as it makes the real image or your concern object look like a miniature. The main object or the center image is brighter and the outer edges are blurred. This effect is due to the lens being shifted or tilted. Take the photo of a landscape or of any scene which has multiple things. But this is an expensive technique, when buying the tilt lens cameras, so these special effects can be produced through editing software too.

In INFRA RED PHOTOGRAPHY, the image sensors must be sensitive to infra-red light, although software can also give the same effect

The DYNAMIC RANGE PHOTOGRAPHY involves taking of multiple shots of individual images and then merging them into one big single image. For this, you need to change the speed of the shutter only. Other things like aperture, brightness etc. will alter the whole image if changed.

The FORCED PERSPECTIVE EFFECT creates optical illusion to make the objects increase or decrease in size than their actual size. Movies used forced perspective illusions when there were no computer graphics.

The LEVITATION EFFECT seems impossible as it is used to take the picture of a levitated object. Here trick photography is applied. But even before applying, there are some necessary things to do to get a starting picture. Take an image of the subject matter you want to capture, but levitated with a support like (table, chair, ladder, rope etc.) and another picture of the background without the object. After that software will help by masking the layers of both images.

The MOTION BLUR EFFECT works most effectively in speed and high movement. Shutter speed is managed accordingly. More blur effect is seen if the shutter is opened for a longer time.

Practice makes perfect to produce your images in a professional way, and you will find many more effects listed here: http://shootdigitalpicslikethepros.com/blog/trick-photogr... (and don't forget to grab the FREE beginners photography guide "Shoot Digital Pics Like The Pros")
