Archie’s Promise is getting geared up for the 5th Annual Prom Dress Drive Giveaway & Sale this coming Saturday March 9th, 2013 ~9am to 3pm (First come, First served) at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, TN. Our mission is to provide young women affordable formal attire to attend special events in their lifetime. Many recipients of the free dresses are on the free/reduced lunch program, live in single family homes, live in very low income housing, students in foster homes, and referrals from school counselors, social workers, and teachers. If the girls do not qualify for a free dress they can purchase one for $25.
Archie’s Promise makes it possible for young women to attend the events of their lifetime while building self-confidence, promoting academic excellence, and a life changing service opportunity to donate their formal gown dress back into the organization for another girl in need.
We are so excited to have the opportunity to attend LaVergne High School on Tuesday March 5th, 2013 at 3pm to discuss the benefits of our program. As founder of Archie’s Promise, we ask that you please join us in this memorable experience on Tuesday March 5th, 2013 at LaVergne to share in the excitement of encouraging young high schools girls.
For Whom: All high school girls are welcome to attend the Gown Giveaway & Sale to try on and choose one special gown for their formal event. There will be lots of dresses to choose from. Participants are eligible for a free dress if they are on free/reduced lunch program at school or receive a referral from a school counselors, social worker, or teacher.
