The Mediterranean island of Sardinia is justly famous for its seafood, but traditional meats are also on the menu as well as a variety of cheeses, olives and rustic bread.
The four-course menu is priced at AED195, and is available from 18:30 to 23:30 hours nightly between March 16 and 28.
Among the dishes set to tantalize the taste buds are mussels with fresh tomato concasse and fresh octopus salad with lemon tomatoes for starters, to be followed by pastas, either with port sausage and saffron tomato sauce, clam broth or pecorino cheese and mint.
For the main attraction, baby goat comes infused with myrtle and roasted with potatoes and rosemary, while meat is paired with fresh raw vegetables and seafood lovers will love the sautéed prawns in a wine and tomato sauce– and everyone can enjoy the delicious traditional desserts, either Seadas pastries with Sardinian eucalyptus honey or ricotta cheesecake with lemon ice-cream.
According to General Manager, Peter Mansourian, the taste of Sardinian will open up a new style of Italian cuisine to Dubai food lovers: “Sardinia offers a distinct menu of ingredients and cooking, lighter perhaps than some other regions of Italy, and this menu has been designed to showcase the specialties that our guests can enjoy”.
