WiredIn boys got wired in - acquired.

March 5, 2013 - PRLog -- MALAYSIA - Inspired by the movie The Social Network, these guys who called themselves WiredIn Studio has recently been acquired by youth mobile marketing agency, Youth Works Asia.

An expert in responsive web development, WiredIn is a mobile and web development company founded in 2011 by a group of student developers in Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Gambang.

The WiredIn boys caught the attention of group CEO of Youth Works Asia (YWA), Bernard Hor at the Microsoft Imagine Cup in Kota Kinabalu last year.  

"I met these guys in the Imagine Cup last year and find them talented, humble and willing.  They gave us a good first impression," said Hor, who is also the founder of Founders Lab, a startup accelerator based in Kuala Lumpur.

"Going lean, understanding user empathy and good designs are key in our business expansion towards digital marketing.  These guys in WiredIn fit the bill perfectly.

"We are excited to have them in the YWA group and looking forward to launching the revolutionary mobile marketing solutions soon," said Hor.

WiredIn founder and CEO, Muhammad Muhaimin Juhairi said the acquisition came in timely as the team in the company is in their final semester while some have just graduated from UMP.

"Most of us have just recently graduated from the university and getting the opportunity to now work with the YWA group is definitely something we look forward to," said Muhaimin, 24.

Sabah-born Muhaimin is also appointed as CTO of Youth Works Asia and the team will focus on the development of the revolutionary mobile marketing technology set to be launched end-March 2013.

The acquisition fee was undisclosed but both companies are set to disrupt the mobile marketing game in the market, bringing the industry to a whole new level.
