A Beautiful Mind. The film is based on the true story of John Forbes Nash, Jr. Nash, a math prodigy, is able to solve nearly impossible problems and lives through a harrowing time of schizophrenia. He made an astonishing discovery early in his career, but before he could take on international fame he found himself on a painful journey of self-discovery. A struggle that lasted many years as Nash walked the tightrope of madness and genius and ultimately triumphed in this true story of human survival. John Forbes Nash, Jr. went on to win the Nobel Prize. Following the movie, Deborah Renner, BSN, CCRC from CNS Healthcare will speak on mental health and the challenges of living with relatives with mental disabilities. Renner has over 38 years of nursing experience in the psychiatric and medical fields in the capacity of staff to Director of Nursing.
