Cincinnati Mayor Proclaims March 25 "New Xtreme Sounds" Day!

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 4, 2013 - Take a look around Cincinnati and you'll see the many changes that have taken place all in the name of moving the city forward over the last 10 years. For any Cincinnatian who's lived elsewhere for a few years the city might seem completely different with all the new buildings, cosmopolitan retail, nightlife, and fine dining. Though many things have come and gone over the last decade, one thing has stood firm and that's the Cincinnati based Music and Entertainment Television show "New Xtreme Sounds" (http://nxstv.com/).

For 13 years NXSTV has remained a staple on the local television networks with its mix of music, entertainment, videos, and celebrity interviews. The show, founded and produced by John House (http://www.jaminationsdcc.com/), started on the public access channel  in 2000 and quickly gained a strong following. In 2002 the show was picked up by WBQC channel 25 then added to the UPN/WKRC network where it remained until moving to the Fox19/Bounce TV network on last year. NXSTV now airs every Saturday at 7pm to a prime time audience of over 1,000,000,000 viewers in the metropolitan Cincinnati area and now has its ratings tracked by the Nielsen (http://www.nielsen.com/us/en.html) Company.

The show's founder and producer John House got his start as a Graphic Arts Designer at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He then worked as a technical illustrator and graphic designer for General Electric for 18 years before starting his own company Jaminations Dcc. Jaminations is a full service media company which produces movies, tv commercials, graphic animation, and music videos.

Due to their commitment to the community and quality programming, ex Cincinnati Mayor Charlie Luken Proclaimed March 25 as NXSTV Day in Cincinnati. When current Mayor Mark Mallory took office in 2006 he also honored NXSTV with a proclamation for the same date. Each year John House and the NXSTV staff throw a huge party in celebration of this accomplishment. This year the party will be held March 22, 2013 at Bentleys Night Life and always has some of the biggest and brightest acts on the show.
