Polar Ice House Grapevine Hosts Spring Break Ice Skating Camp

Ice rink hosts accelerated learn to skate camp during spring break

Grapevine, TX – February 26, 2013 – Take a break from the books and pick up a new sport at Polar Ice House Grapevine (http://www.polaricehousegrapevine.com/) with an accelerated Learn to Skate camp during spring break. The five-day camp, which runs from March 11 to 15, will feature skating classes, practice, crafts, movies, two additional “buddy” skate sessions, and more.

Each day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is packed with fun and activities for kids of all ages. With instructional group classes taught by certified U.S. Figure Skating instructors and additional practice times on public sessions, skaters can earn their Basic 1 or Sam 1 badge.

“We’re excited to teach beginners to ice skate at Polar Ice House Grapevine during spring break this year,” said Kathi Singleton, Polar Ice House Grapevine’s General Manager. “The break is a great time for kids to stay active, spend time with friends and learn a new sport.”

Off the ice, campers will work through a U.S. Figure Skating workbook, play games, watch movies and craft. At the end of the camp, skaters will receive two additional “buddy” public session passes to bring friends and show off their new skills at Polar Ice House.

Enjoy Polar Ice House’s skilled staff and impressive amenities at a great price and learn an Olympic sport quickly and with ease! The camp costs a total of $275 and is a great option for those looking for an exciting and active way to spend spring break.
