Morris County Court House
This Project will include a new electric booster pump in the architecture to assure that water pressure to the new fire sprinkler system meets code requirements. The new automatic fire sprinkler system will be in compliance with current NFPA codes and standards as they relate to the design and installation of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
Robinson scope includes:
Verification of Existing Conditions
- identification of the project needs, data collection on existing systems, and preparation of a plan for the accomplishment the full, comprehensive schedule of the work.
Conceptual Design
- this phase consists of preparation of alternatives for the design of the following: preparation of drawings and a cost estimate of the project. All design work will comply with NFPA 101, 72, 70, IBC-NJ2009 and local fire department requirements. It includes the development and evaluation of Riser Diagrams reflecting sprinkler systems operation, calculations of drainage systems alternatives and hydraulic, and tests of water supply & flow and existing underground & utility, and asbestos.
Final Design and Construction Administration
- preparation of contract documents, construction cost estimates and schedule after County approval of the conceptual design. Bid award and recommendations and construction administration.
