(API) and the Anne Arundel Dept. of Recreation and Parks is Maryland’s first-of-its kind youth multi sport tournament announced today that the Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) will be the 2013 title sponsor. The historic event is the first in the region to provide first-class multi-sport competition promoting teamwork, sportsmanship and athletic achievement for amateur athletes. This year’s event will run throughout Anne Arundel County from June 29th through July 7th, 2013 and will highlight some of the area’s top high school and youth sport complexes. “We are very excited to add BWMC as the Sports Fest’s 2013 Title Sponsor,” stated Dale Bundschu, Vice President at API. “As one of the best hospitals in the region affiliated with the renowned University of Maryland Medical System BWMC is a natural fit to represent the All American Sports Fest. The All-American Sports Fest is a celebration of athletes, competition, community and national pride during the Independence Day Holiday. With over 5,000 athletes competing in seven selected tournaments and events, the All-American Sports Fest provides opportunity to celebrate sports, families and America’s Independence enjoying all that Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington, DC have to offer!
