Transform Outsource: Film industry evolves as indie film is first to be released via games console

With the evolution of the film industry and soaring costs, unfortunately there has already been a string of casualties.

For low budget independent films, with little or no support from investors and studios, marketing can prove very costly. Adam Hamdy, the creator of the film says,

‘Theatrical distribution, nowadays, costs on average about £2 million per movie for marketing, prints and advertising. For a film like Pulp, that doesn't have bankable stars with a track record, it's a challenge for any distributor to take that gamble."

The CEO of Transform Outsource believes that if the new distribution method proves successful, it could pave the way for other projects and change the future of the independent film industry.

“I think that this new approach and strategy could revolutionize the distribution of films and allow independent films to reach a wider audience. This could prove to be a much-needed boost to the industry, with lower outgoings and higher profit margins for smaller companies’.

Transform Outsource are currently working with one of the UK’s most successful Film/TV and Game distributors. The CEO added,
