A Legendary Event Comes to Naples

March 4, 2013 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 6pm, Coach Don Shula’s infamous Steak House teams up with Coach Mike Ditka’s wine for a legendary event. Both Pro Football Hall of Famers are saving you a seat for this once in a lifetime opportunity to be wined and dined! Part of proceeds from the evenings event will benefit the United Way of Collier County.
Shula’s Steak House in Naples invites loyal customers and raving fans to join two football heroes for an undefeated dining experience, featuring Shula’s cuisine paired with the varietals of Mike Ditka’s own label wines. Bill Terlato of Terlato wines will be in attendance to discuss how Shula’s menu perfectly pairs up with Ditka’s wines to please the palate. During this exclusive event, guests will have the opportunity to meet some of Coach Shula’s former players.

Coach Don Shula’s record as head coach of the Miami Dolphins (1970-95) and before that as head coach of the Baltimore Colts (1963-69) is unmatched in National Football League history. In 1995 he concluded his 33rd season as an NFL head coach and his 26th season as head coach of the Dolphins. Coach Shula is the winningest coach in NFL history with 347 career wins. Mike Ditka, the only Bears coach to win a Super Bowl has experienced championships in three different roles during his nearly 40-year career in the NFL. Ditka’s achievements include victory in championships as a player, assistant coach and head coach.
