PRLog (Press Release) -
Mar. 4, 2013 - Some say art just mimics reality. Others that it's a recreation. Khrystyna Kozyuk's art is an exploration of color, texture, and depth that makes up the world. Her vision of the beautiful landscape that is her mind and the Earth, will be on display for everyone in a solo art show. Starting March 23rd at 7 PM, her work will be on showcase at Forté Framing and Gallery (
http://forte-framing.com/), 2301 W. North Avenue Chicago, IL 60647.
The show at Forté Framing and Gallery will feature Khrystyna Kozyuk's brand new colorful abstracts along with new landscapes. The fact that Forté is giving her a solo art show is very telling of her ability. Only exceptional new artists get the chance for such an experience at the gallery. Come see Khrystyna reach people with her work. It's not enough to just create a beautiful piece of art, it should mean something. Khrystyna wants to heal with her expressions.
Khrystyna Kozyuk (
http://www.kozyukgallery.com/biography/) is more than just a talented artist. Growing up in the Ukraine, she was surrounded by nature's beautiful mountains, rivers, caves, and lakes. Also, Ukraine's historic villages and castles. From sitting on her grandpa's lap while he drew horses, to her mother letting her paint murals on the kitchen wall, she began to find a voice in art. By fifth grade she was selling artwork and even took home 1st prize in an international children's competition in Poland. Graduating from University in Lviv, she moved to the U.S. with nothing but her talent. It took time, hard work and dedication to become the artist she is now.
Make sure to stop by for the reception on March 23rd at 7 PM. You'll get a chance to see all of the artwork on display. There will be wine, appetizers, and some good music to create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the parking is free so you can come and just bask in art that will move and inspire you.
