Actors will be selected based on their voice performance and the quality of their sound recording. This is a non-union project. No experience is necessary.
Actors who are selected will participate in recording different characters for the Freedrama.net online radio show. The first radio show will be volunteer and then actors will be paid a small stipend for any additional shows they are asked to do. The goal is to create a group of reliable voice actors who meet radio show deadlines and provide quality acting and recordings for the show.
Freedrama.net provides free play scripts for schools and stage as well as lesson plans, games and other activities. The website is popular with actors, theatres and teachers. New services are added on a regular basis in order to create an excellent resource for drama education.
