Social Media Training in Raleigh NC Starting Wednesday March 6 at Wake Tech with Martin Brossman

March 2, 2013 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C. -- An experienced instructor of evening courses in social media and small business success for adult learners, Martin Brossman is teaching his six part fundamentals of social media for business course in North Raleigh starting on March 6, 2013.  

"Using Social Media to Supercharge Your Business" will get participants started with using social media for business.

"It’s all about relationships! On the ground and on the web," Brossman says. Focusing on relationships is the long-standing mantra in the business community. It is understand that strong and loyal relationships help a business get started and grow.

Those who are comfortable with in-person networking may not know how to translate that to "on the web" networking with social media. "Yet social media can help in many ways," says Brossman, "without a lot of marketing dollars to make it effective."

Brossman's training will will provide participants with key knowledge about what the social media sites and resources are, and how to best use them:

• Free local directories like Yelp, Google Local, Trip Advisor and location sharing sites like Foursquare;

• Social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Google+; and,

• Current topics like mobile marketing.

Class time will include computer basics and how to set up accounts for these online tools, and will also include "on-the-ground" (in person) referral marketing techniques that drive revenue for businesses.
