For Her Extraordinary Strides In Technology And Business, Shelon Douglas Receives Coveted Award

Among the members awarded were Shelon Doulas, author, public speaker, business architect, busintesspreneur strategist, global innovationalist and technology expert. Douglas has launched several platforms enabling small and large business owners (youth included) to catapult their business, or business ideas, to the next level.

Douglas received the Vision Award for her forward-thinking ideas and creativity in the realms of business innovation and technology.  She was nominated by a committee and chosen among hundreds of potential NSN members. Douglas recently received President Obama’s Volunteer Service Award in November 2012. Speaking on the double-win, Douglas said, “Both awards took me by surprise. It is incredible to be acknowledged for work that I love. It is even better knowing that the work I love is effectual and really resonates with people. My vision is much bigger than business coaching and strategy development; it is about reigniting a fire within people whose flames have died, and empowering them to build the future they desire.”
