IBG Laboratories, The Makers of Colorevolution Cosmetics is offering a lifetime supply of cosmetics to the next superstar on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Season 5.

March 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – This past Monday marked LOGO TV’s  5th episode of season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The episode titled, “Snatch Game”, features the remaining nine contestants competing to become America’s next fabulous drag queen and winner of the grand prize which includes: a lifetime supply of Colorevolution Cosmetics, a one-of-a-kind trip, courtesy of Al & Chuck.Travel.com, the honor of headlining the drag race tour, featuring Absolute Vodka; cocktails perfected, and a “cash money honey” prize of $100,000.

After last week’s unprecedented elimination of not one but two contestants, Vivienne Pinay and Honey, the remaining nine know that this week, they really have to bring it.

The episode kicks off in style as the queens battle it out in the “Who Wore it Best” challenge. For this contest, each woman is given a “Cuddler” and a pair of scissors with the goal of turning this “Snuggie-like” robe into an outfit that is red-carpet-worthy. RuPaul and guest judge, Ian Drew of US Weekly say “condragulations” to the three women who pulled off their look best.

All primed and ready for the spotlight, the queens are now better equipped for their main challenge of the show, the much anticipated,” Snatch Game”. To guest judge the show, RuPaul brought in MTV royalty, Julie Brown and Downtown Julie Brown.  In this game, each contestant must pick a celebrity to impersonate as they answer questions form Ru in-character as contestants on the Snatch Game Show. In order to win, the answer that each contestant gives must match the answer of the guest judge. This challenge tests each woman’s improve skills, wit, and impersonation skills, qualities every drag queen must possess in order to be successful.

The women pick celebrities ranging from Taylor Swift and Ke$ha to Celia Cruz-the Queen of Salsa, and Little Edie from Grey Gardens, and use Colorevolution cosmetics to transform themselves into these icons.  During the game we see that some stars definitely shine brighter than others as contestants like Jinx Monson as Little Edie steal the show and others struggle with their character.

When it comes time for eliminations, both Lineysha Sparx and Detox are left to lip synch for their lives as they grasp on to any hope of remaining in the race. Ultimately, Lineysha Sparx’s lip-synching abilities are not enough to save her from her lack-luster portrayal of Celia Cruz, the Queen of Salsa, and she is sent to sashay home.

Viewers can catch the race with Colorevolution and RuPaul on LOGO TV on Mondays at 9/8pm Central.

In addition to Colorevolution being featured throughout the 5th season of RuPaul's Drag Race; IBG Laboratories, the makers of Colorevolution, is collaborating with RuPaul on specialized private-label items that will be coming in 2013.
