Veltimera Goes Green With Style

This is one reason that her clothing design company recently joined the Green Business Bureau, which is a national membership organization that uses an online assessment to certify green businesses.

Veltimera only uses eco-friendly fabrics such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, bamboo, peace silk and other advanced sustainable materials. Its designs are intended to be healthy for the Earth, people and animals.

Not only are Veltimera’s products eco-friendly, but also the company incorporates green values into its operations. The Veltimera team creates things by hand and recycles and re-uses as much as possible in studio. They also reduce energy consumption by turning off electrical appliances when not in use and travel by public transportation whenever possible. Veltimera’s fundraising products, gifts, mail and shipping packages are even made of recycled materials.

Angelica Chavez, who became a vegetarian in an effort to reduce animal suffering, believes that Veltimera will be able to achieve higher standards of going green and take on new growth initiatives by joining the Green Business Bureau. Angelica’s goal is to reduce our negative effects on the planet with simple lifestyle choices, one design at a time.
