March 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Notre Dame College, a private, liberal arts college in Great Cleveland, discusses the controversy surrounding torture depicted in the movie Zero Dark Thirty.

NDC released an article today titled, "Dark Deeds: EITs and Detainee Torture in “Zero Dark Thirty"" which you can find here: http://online.notredamecollege.edu/masters-homeland-security/torture-in-zero-dark-thirty/

"War isn’t pretty, and “Zero Dark Thirty” didn’t try to dress it up. The film has been criticized for painting “enhanced interrogation tactics” and the torture of detainees as a necessary evil. Republican and Democrat Senators from California, Michigan and Arizona have condemned the film as “grossly inaccurate and misleading,” claiming that the information leading to the apprehension and death of Osama bin Laden did not come as a result of information provided by detainees under duress," states NDC.

About NDC:

Notre Dame College sits on 53 picturesque wooded acres, tucked away in a quiet suburban neighborhood just outside of Cleveland, Ohio – the only small liberal arts college in Greater Cleveland. We value the low student-faculty ratio that fosters a warm personal atmosphere and the individual attention that contributes to success.
