In 2012, SL Green selected Tri-State LED's Seesmart product, installing more than 17,000 LED lamps throughout 21 of its properties, saving more than $850,000 annually through energy and lamp replacement savings. 1515 Broadway continues the success of this program, installing 1,100 Seesmart LED lamps, replacing antiquated lighting technologies throughout 24/7 lighting areas including stairs and mechanical spaces to reduce energy use within retrofit areas by more than 55%. LED lighting combines superior efficiency with exceptional lamp life of more than eight years to dramatically reduce lighting replacement costs over time, and offer attractive return on investment for its customers.
